How It Works

  • This program is free, and all materials are provided by the Central Connecticut Woodturners.
  • Before getting started, you’ll receive safety instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • A skilled member of the Central Connecticut Woodturners will guide you through using the lathe to create the body of your pen, then help you assemble your final product.
  • The process typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes. If there is a wait, you are welcome to peruse the library!

The Central Connecticut Woodturners (CCW) was founded in 1994 to support the needs of woodturners in the central Connecticut area. Its purpose is to promote a higher standard of excellence in woodturning by providing an ever expanding source of information and resources to its members.
